Consumer spending rises 0.6%

据 La time Mar 3,2009 报导.The commerce department report on consumers showed spending rose 0.6% in January,even better than the 0.4% gain economists expected.
Consumer spending,which accounts for about 70%of total economic activity,fell at an annual rate of 4.3% during the fourth quarter,the biggest drop scince the second quarter of 1980.
